Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using People Met, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What People Met is

People Met is a personal tool for recording and organizing information about people you have met. It is currently in beta and is provided as a learning and portfolio project.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

Your data

You own the content you create in People Met. We do not claim any ownership over the people entries, notes, tags, or other data you add to your account. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is stored and used.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service

Service availability

People Met is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. As a beta product, features may change or be removed without notice.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, People Met and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
